The bright blue one is a regular one around here. This photo was taken just after it died and before it was dragged away by ants. Isn't it a brilliant blue? Apparently they are endangered.

    Gorgeous blue butterfly - shame they have such short lives. We are just beginning to see a few fluttering about*!*
