This evening I went for one of my walks after dark-- a short leisurely walk-- at the insistence of my Dobe. She kept at me till I laced up my shoes and went outside. It had rained earlier in the day and so the temperature outside was a little more pleasant than inside the house. The moon had not come up yet. A carpet of jasmine flowers lying at the foot of the climbing jasmine over in my brother-in-law's garden gave off a sweet scent. All the plants look so rejuvenated after a shower. Maybe I'll go out again later after the moon has come up.

  1. I love the smell of different trees and bushes at this time of the year. My Lilacs are now finished blooming, but the fragrance is still in the air. Before the Lilacs, there was the sweet smell of my apple tree when it was in blossom. God gives us so many wonderful scent to enjoy.
Nothing like being outside in the evening when the air is so fresh and everything is starting to wake up from that long winter`s rest.
Enjoy your pleasant walks with your trusting Dobe.
    ((Hugs to you my friend))
